Upcoming Alumni Events in India

international_alumni.jpgThe first of many Warwick Business School alumni events in India are to take place later this month, offering WBS alumni the opportunity to reunite with old friends and make new ones.

Vice Chancellor, Professor Nigel Thrift will be travelling to India for two informal dinners in Mumbai and New Delhi on the 20th and 21st February respectively.

The dinner in Mumbai will be held at the Ambassador Hotel at 7:30pm whilst the New Delhi event will be held at the Ramada Plaza Hotel from 7pm.

Tickets for the dinners in Mumbai and New Delhi are limited and unfortunately on this occasion there are no available places for friends and family of alumni.
  • If you would like to attend these events please email alumni@wbs.ac.uk as soon as possible.
Alumni in Bangalore are also invited to come and meet Alison Bond, deputy director of WBS Development and Alumni Relations on Tuesday 24 February at the Taj Gateway Hotel to share memories and catch up on the latest developments at Warwick.

These events are the first to be organised with the help of alumni Janak Sheth, Manish Poddar and Harisharan Singh who have agreed to act as representatives in India of the University of Warwick.

Their support is instrumental in helping the alumni team plan more events and activity in the region tailored to alumni needs, to raise Warwick's profile in India and help develop the university's international alumni support network.

As part of this network, Warwick will be holding its first ever Global Alumni Conference in New Delhi in November 2009. More information will be available at the alumni events in February whilst personal invitations will be sent out soon.
  • To find out who your nearest Alumni representative is or volunteer to host your own event, visit the Warwick Alumni website.
