Warwick Global Conference: New Delhi – Responding to Change

The first in a new series of events - Warwick Global Conference - will be held in New Delhi on Saturday 14 November 2009. The first event, “Responding to Change”, will explore a range of topics crucial to the rapidly changing face of Indian and global business. 

The Warwick Global Conference series provides an opportunity for global business and political leaders, policy makers, and academics to examine some of the most critical issues affecting business, economic and social growth through the lens of the host nation.

This prestigious event will hear from senior business leaders  and academics including: Sarthak Behuria, Chairman, Indian Oil Corporation  and President of the World LPGas Association (WLPGA ); Arun Jaitley , Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India; Sachin Pilot , Minister of State for Communication & IT, Government of India ; and Prof Nigel Thrift, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Warwick.

 Academic experts  from the University of Warwick will lead and compliment the discussion, showcasing leading Warwick research and driving academic debate.  The conference is designed to be informative, challenging and interactive. Speakers will be asked to develop their proposition, followed by a moderated panel discussion enabling the audience to participate.
