The University of Warwick named as one of the Top 100 companies to work for in 2025.
The University of Warwick has been named as one of the top 100 companies to work for, in a recent survey of job satisfaction. The survey, carried out by employee development platform Zensai, analysed company review data from Glassdoor.com to identify the top places to work.
Warwick received an Employee Satisfaction Score of 69.18 out of 100 in 13 categories, which were weighted and added together. It was ranked 29th out of the 100 listed and was the second highest scoring university after the University of Sheffield, which attained a score of 75.89.
Salary was an important factor in achieving a high satisfaction score, with eight of the top ten best UK companies falling into the financial and technology sectors, and the remaining two being management consultants. However, many of the other top performing companies were ranked highly for health benefits, sick pay, flexible hours and work-life balance – including remote working.
Glassdoor.com is an online service where people can search for jobs and see company reviews from employees. The review categories used in the Zensai survey included: salary, business outlook, recommendation to friends, approval of the CEO, ratings from different demographic groups, career opportunities, health benefits, financial benefits, flexible work hours, working from home, sick pay and vacation days, transportation benefits, and miscellaneous benefits.
