Warwick in Times Higher Education "most international universities in the world 2025" top 30

This result reflects the University’s strong global outlook and reputation for outstanding teaching and research excellence, all of which is supported by Warwick’s new International StrategyLink opens in a new window, launched in November 2024. As Warwick celebrates its 60th yearLink opens in a new window, our student body is 38% international, welcoming people from 115 different countries, and 40% of our staff community is international.

As a global higher education institution committed to advancing innovative research alongside world-class teaching, Warwick has fostered partnerships in South Africa, Australia, India, China, Singapore, Indonesia, and is proudly a founding member of the EUTOPIA European University alliance.

Between 2020-2024, our researchers delivered 187 externally funded projects with global partners; and in 2024 alone over 7000 of our students took part in an international education opportunity.”

Comparing universities on four metrics – proportion of international staff, proportion of international students, international co-authorship, and international reputation, data collected as part of the Times Higher Education World University RankingsLink opens in a new window – Warwick placed ninth among all UK universities.

As Warwick celebrates its 60th anniversary and reaffirms its commitment to making a better world together and a positive, lasting impact for years to come, the University is showcasing its strategic global partnerships and international opportunities for students through the One World Warwick Link opens in a new windowprogramme. From studying at the Warwick Venice Centre to career opportunities across the globe; from joint research collaboration funding with our key global partners to the launching of new collaborative research projects around the world, international is part of the University’s DNA.
