New Annual Lecture Taking Place on Friday 15th June 2018

Professor Simon Caney will be giving our Annual Lecture on Friday June 15th. He will talk about Poverty, Inequality and Justice: Development in a Climate Constrained World. This lecture will commence after the Postgraduate Conference in Room OC 1.06, Oculus Building, Warwick University from 5PM. We hope to see you there!

This interview reveals Jahangir’s feelings about NGOs, international funding and democratisation in Pakistan, but also highlights the humanist nature of this unforgettable woman.

Afro‐European Medical and Research Network (AEMRN) 2017 Conference

Professor Franklyn Lisk (Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation, University of Warwick) participated at the annual conference of the Afro-European Medical Research Network (AEMRN) at the United Nations, Geneva on 7-8 December 2017. AEMRN is a Swiss-based global Diaspora health professional organisation that is accredited to the WHO and UN ECOSOC.

The theme of the conference, which brought together European and US-based Diaspora health professionals engaged in health sector development projects in Africa as well as representatives of the WHO and UNAIDS, was 'Universal Health Coverage...Leaving no one behind' (programme of the conference).
