About WCUS
The Warwick Centre for Ultrafast Spectroscopy is a cutting edge, femtosecond laser facility, with a range of experiments for studying molecules and materials across a broad spectrum and in a variety of environments. The facility consists of a Spectra-Physics 13 W, 1 kHz, 40 fs laser system split into four individually compressed beam lines to serve four unique experiments: ultraviolet pump / white light probe transient absorption spectroscopy; ultraviolet pump / infrared probe transient absorbtion spectroscopy; optical pump / terahertz probe time domain spectroscopy; and terahertz pump / terahertz probe time domain spectroscopy.
How to find us:
WCUS is located in the Materials and Analytical Sciences building, off Library Road, Floor 2, Room 2.11. Parking is available in Car Park 10 nearest the building for those who get in early enough (before 8am). Otherwise, there are many multi-storey car parks on campus that usually have spaces available.
