Warwick Ultrafast Spectroscopy Symposium
A great event on Friday bringing together over 40 researchers with an interest in Ultrafast and THz Spectroscopy. A big thank you to all our speakers; Dr Greg Greetham (Central Laser Facility), Dr Joseph Beames (University of Birmingham) and Dr Jessica Boland (University of Manchester) and our amazing contributed talks. Also a special thanks to the Warwick analytical Science centre and Dr Chris Waldron for funding and organisation.
Warwick Live Labs
Jack and his team of elves (facility users) attended the Live Labs before the Warwick Christmas lecture to show off how light interacts both with itself and the natural environment. Visitors got to see the effects of interference, absorption and emission, and a festive treat with the aid of diffractive optical elements. We even had a tornado!
Ultrafast Spectroscopy Symposium
Join us in January 2025 for a FREE one-day symposium on Ultrafast spectroscopic techniques. In conjunction with the Warwick analytical Science Centre (WASC), this event event aims to allow students to get the most out of the techniques and learn best practices from technical and academic experts, as well as an opportunity to share how these techniques have enabled their research.
