RTProf Jack Woolley wins RSC Technical Excellence Prize

Fantastic news that our Research Technology Professional, Dr Jack Woolley, has been awarded the Technical Excellence Prize by the Royal Society of Chemistry for "providing outstanding technical and scientific support to users of the Warwick Centre for Ultrafast Spectroscopy, enabling many researchers to conduct impactful science." Well done, Jack, on a brilliant achievement!
BoostCrop team wins prestigious RSC Horizon Prize

The BoostCrop team, which originated at Warwick and led by Prof. Vasilios Stavros (now University of Birmingham), has been named winner of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Horizon Prizes, which celebrate discoveries and innovations that push the boundaries of science. The Resonate Festival of Science and Technology
Jack and Sofia presented the effects of lasers and light at the Resonate Festival of Science and Technology. Visitors got to see the effects of interference, absorption and emission, with a hands on demonstration of how to control light!

A great event on Friday bringing together over 40 researchers with an interest in Ultrafast and THz Spectroscopy.
