Leamington Spa

Leamington Spa, eight miles from the University, is an old market town made up of mostly Georgian and Victorian housing, with some new-build areas. It's the more lively neighbour of Warwick, Stratford and Kenilworth, with good shopping on the Parade and a good selection of restaurants, bars and nightlife.

The Jephson Gardens and Pump rooms at the bottom on the Parade are popular with locals and tourists alike. Leamington has its own theatre and sports facilities.

Property prices vary greatly from the more favoured North side of the town, to the more reasonably priced, but still accessible, South side. The schools are generally very good in Leamington and offer a good selection of Public and Comprehensive schools.

Leamington is an easy 15 minute drive from the University and is well serviced by the X12 bus that will take you directly into the University. There is a mainline Station at Leamington with the Chiltern Line providing a good service to Marylebone London and Birmingham. Virgin Trains also run via Coventry.
