What does being released from my contract mean?

Being released from your contract means that you are released from your contractual obligations with Warwick Accommodation and will no longer be charged for your campus accommodation, provided that you have vacated your room, returned your keys or you have confirmed that you are happy for your keys to be deactivated and have completed the form below. We will inform you by email that you have been released from your contract.

I would like to be released from my contract and I have emptied my room, but I still have my key. Is it possible for me to be released?

Yes, if you complete the form there is an option to let us know that you still have your key but you are happy for us to deactivate it remotely.

I have paid in advance for the year, will I receive a refund if I request to be released from my contract?

Yes you will. Please see the student finance website for further information.
