Expression of Interest

Many thanks for expressing interest in the Hear My Name project.  On this page you will find the research project Participant Information Leaflet and a link to the survey for those wishing to feedback anonymously on their experiences of using an audio name badge.

We suggest you test using the audio name badge for 21 days and then click the link to the anonymous online survey to share your experiences (see below for a guide to creating an audio name badge).  If you wish, you are also invited to share the link to the anonymous recipient survey with three others (who must be Warwick staff or students) who received an email from you containing your audio name badge in the hope they will share their experiences with us also.

Expressing an interest in the Hear My Name project in no way obligates you to complete the survey or to send a link to others.  We will contact you once to send the links to you again in 28 days and after that, your email address will be deleted.  There will be no other follow-up.  Please only give your email address if you are happy for us to contact you on this one occasion.

For your information links to the following documents are available for your to view now before providing your email address.  These documents will be sent to you again by email in 28 days to enable you, should you wish, to feedback on your experiences of using an audio name badge.

How to include an audio name badge in your email signature

Step one
Create a link to your audio name badge:
  • Use a site such as namecoach (which enables you to create for free an audio name badge, which can also include a photograph, pronoun preferences and more)
  • Record your name and share the link using a site such as Vocaroo | Online voice recorder or Dropbox
Step two
Include this link in your email signature
  • In Outlook, go to settings and search for ‘email signature’ and then follow the steps to create/edit your email signature and include a link to your audio file.

Have we got anything wrong or is there another way? Let us know by emailing - all suggestions/corrections welcome.
