Academic & Skills Support:
- Student-led Academic Excellence Sessions: final-year academic mentors to lead peer mentoring sessions and targeted support to bridge attainment gap - both at upper (1/2:1) and lower (3) ends.
- Year Abroad Inclusion Mentors: structured peer-to-peer support to help underrepresented student groups prepare for Year Abroad. Practical lived experience and informal advice from peers. Encourages these students to take a Year Abroad, and aids academic performance/reduces attainment gaps.
Community & Belonging:
- Student Networks: continue to support student network leads, increase sense of community and strengthen inclusion, support departmental change.
- Student Inclusion Officers - Welcome Week: signposting first-year students to services, promote inclusive activities and events, networking and mentoring opportunities, transition support.
Inclusive Pedagogy & Assessment:
- Focus Group on Marking Criteria: redevelop marking criteria to ensure accessible to diverse student groups - including development of visual and plain-language versions, and work around accessibility of Year Abroad communications.

- THRIVE Programme (departmental delivery): mixed group of WP students, enhance wellbeing and support skills development.
