This session is designed for all University staff and will be delivered by the Neurodiversity and the Student Experience WIHEA Learning Circle. Participants will explore methods to foster a neuroaffirmative department and discuss strategies to cultivate an inclusive environment. The significance of a sense of belonging for neurodivergent students will also be explored, as well as approaches to Welcome Week, SSLC meetings, internal events, and student-staff interactions within inclusive education initiatives.
