UoW Symphony Orchestra & Chorus: Reverie and ReflectionWarwick Arts CentreJoin the University Symphony Orchestra and Chorus as they present two halves of wonderful, yet contemplative music. Berlioz's epic Symphonie Fantastique describes episodes in the life of an artist - a psychological thriller transformed into a symphony. In contrast, Matthew Coleridge’s deeply moving Requiem for choir, soloists and orchestra offers you a chance to enjoy a moment of calm reflection. Pre-Show Talk: Coleridge Requiem Composer, Matthew Coleridge, will be giving a pre-concert talk at 2.45pm in the Butterworth Hall to audience members before the performance of his Requiem given by the University Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. |
