Dignity at Warwick
We are committed to ensuring a working and learning environment in which all University members (staff and students) are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, and where bullying and harassment are not tolerated. The Dignity at Warwick Policy outlines unacceptable behaviours and the process for reporting and dealing with inappropriate behaviour.
On this page you'll find links to all ED&I policies, including Disability, ED&I, and Trans and Gender Reassignment. For a full list of University policies see the HR A-Z webpage.
Familiarise yourself with the ED&I policies here.
We recognise the power of Staff Networks, the ED&I team facilitate a number of Networks which we invite you to join for networking, peer support, socialising, and discussing issues of mutual interest.
You can find a full list of existing Networks, and information on how to join, on the Staff Networks webpage.
Conference Support Awards
Small Awards (of up to £150) are available to research active staff and those in Professional Services posts to help support the extra childcare or other caring costs associated with attendance at conferences.
If you need to attend conferences for your role, see if you could be eligible for a Conference Support Award.
Disability Framework (Workplace Adjustments)
The Disability Framework is designed to provide managers with an overview of when and how to implement a workplace adjustment for staff, and to help them through the process.
Find the full guide on the Disability Framework webpage.
Equality Impact Assessment (EIA)
An EIA is a tool that will assist in the analysis of policies and practices to ensure that they do not disadvantage or inadvertently discriminate against any individual or groups of individuals with a protected characteristic.
If you need to carry out an EIA for a change in your area, you will find detailed guidance on the EIA webpage.
If you're a new member of staff, welcome to Warwick! On this page you'll find ED&I information and signposts to key services and initiatives.
