Contractor Health and Safety Induction Material

All contractors undertaking work on behalf of the University must receive the appropriate Health and Safety information both prior to arrival and upon entering the site. To support this, a mandatory induction video covering Health and Safety, Behaviour, Sustainability, and Quality standards must be shown to all contractor operatives either immediately before or upon arrival.

This general induction must be supplemented by a local induction, tailored to the specific site and activities, to ensure operatives are fully aware of the hazards and procedures relevant to their work. Contractors are required to maintain accurate records confirming that all operatives have viewed the induction video, which must be provided to the University as evidence of compliance.
