Drawing a house and garden is easy, right? Challenge your drawing skills by experiencing what it’s like to draw whilst blind-folded. Work together with your partner to see what you can do.
Time to get active and creative! Build a perfect den or hide-out that will get your imagination flowing. The whole group experiences a den trail at the end and enjoys a short story at each stop.
Two fantastic language workshops to choose from, either French or Spanish by Kidslingo. A fun-filled afternoon of singing, educational games and creative activities for all to enjoy.
Have you got what it takes to build a strong, tall building made out of paper? Get involved in our construction challenge and see if your building will withstand some pressure. |

Adventure Express Day and Party with Gemma (am and pm)

Gemma from Adventure Express is going to take you on a journey of fun drama activities that ends with an amazing party and dance-off! Children will be working building and developing characters, making masks, practising their devising and improvising skills before ending the day with lots of dancing and party games.

Children can bring along some party accessories if they wish but it is not essential.

How do you fancy taking the chefs challenge? Taste a range of different fruit and vegetables and see if you can tell us what they are, but, there is a catch because you won’t be able to see! A range of fun activities to follow which will test your child’s food knowledge.
Make your own Easter egg but with a difference. Time to roll up your sleeves and get messy with yarn and glue to create an Easter egg shell that has a hidden treat.
Steve the Juggler returns for the umpteenth time to run his popular Circus Skills Workshop. This will contain beginner level instruction on a wide variety of props such as Diabolo, Flowerstick, Stilts, Poi Spinning, how to Juggle, Magic, Puppetry, Pedal Racers, and even Toothbrush Twirling! Session finishes with a short talent show, where any children who wish to show off their skills, can get up and perform!

Children explore different locations on campus in search for answers to their clues. Each clue they find will be extremely important in discovering the missing eggs. There are bonus points, team points and prizes to be won! An activity not to be missed.
Children go on a journey through the rainforest - with real rainforest animals and with a ranger who really knows the rainforest inside out.
It's all about experiencing the drama of the rainforest - from the dark forest floor to the dizzy heights of the emergent layer! Children will learn about plants and get to meet a range of animals from ground-dwelling snails, 'travelling' snakes and canopy-dwelling tree frogs!
After learning lots about different rainforest animals, children will get stuck into making a mask of their favourite one.

Puppet Making Adventures Workshop with Jim Morris (am and pm) |
What will you make, a talking giant, robot or possibly a monster? The choice is yours. Children are encouraged to let their imaginations go wild when creating their puppet. Characters are brought to life through activities such as adventure cards and chat show games. A brilliant way to spend your Easter holidays! |

A Play in a Day 10am-4pm (am and pm) |
All children will be actively involved in bringing ‘The Ugly Duckling’ script to life. There are so many ways to get involved: acting, directing, costume making etc. Everyone who attends will be using inventive theatre techniques such as choral speech, stylised movement and mime. By the end of the day, the children will perform a 10-15 minute play for all to watch.

Children we need to be comfortable in loose trousers clothing but warm as there will be a lot of movement at some points during the day. |

The fantastic Bay Leaf company are back and ready to cook! Children will be shown how to make a delicious lemon polenta cake which they can bring home for the whole family to enjoy (if they don’t eat it first). Children go through the recipe and ingredients in detail so they can make it at home too.

The fantastic company, Let’s Animate, will be helping children become filmmakers for the afternoon. Working in small groups, the children create effective models before animating their own short scenarios. The children will then add voice recordings and the final edit will be available to approximately one week later. |

Friday 8thApril |
Olympics Day (am and pm) |
Children will participate in multi-sports with a focus on sportsmanship and fair play to tie in with our Olympic themed day and values. Children will develop their physical literacy and have heaps of fun doing it.
Non-stop fun for the rest of the day as children will exercise their creativity by looking into different countries and sports. By the end of the day, I’m sure all children will be even more excited for Rio 2016! |
