You should note however, the joining process is currently designed specifically around students, so you will have to select a study course and educational years when prompted otherwise you will not be able to complete the registration.

As an employee of the education sector you are eligible to purchase an annual paid membership for a Costco Online Subscription or Costco Individual Membership Card.Link opens in a new window You are able to do this on-line or in person at your nearest Costco Warehouse. If you decide to apply online your membership number will be emailed to you immediately following checkout. Each new "Individual" member will need to stop by the membership counter (allowing 12 hours) to validate and pick up the new membership card before shopping in the Warehouse. Please take a copy of your email and your supporting documentation (your university staff card, recent payslip and proof of residency).

To collect your new membership card you will need:

1. A copy of your email if you have registered on-line.
2. University Staff Card
3. Recent Payslip
4. Proof of Residency
