Deep Tech Innovation Centre
Deep Tech Innovation Centre
Supporting aspiring deep tech founders who want to create a sustainable business built on data science, artificial intelligence or emerging technologies.
What is it?
The Deep Tech Incubator training programme works with founders at all stages of their entrepreneurship journey.
- Get help to validate your ideas.
- Develop your business plan.
- Access networks of businesses, experts, investors and other useful contacts.
- One to one mentoring to help you shape your business plan and become investment-ready.
- Space at the heart of the University of Warwick campus, to work, hold meetings or get to know others in the programme.
Take a look at some of the spinouts we have supported in previous cohorts here.
Who can apply?
Anyone with a great deep tech idea or early stage business. You don't have to have a registered company if your project is very early stage, but we can only support people and companies based in the UK.
The programme is hybrid; training bootcamps are in-person and there are also networking events. Drop-in clinics and mentoring can be remote, though we want everyone to benefit from being part of a diverse cohort, so would like in-person meetings from time to time.
Opportunities for students
Our founders are always keen to meet with students, particularly those from the Department of Computer Science and Maths, and explore opportunities to work with them. Over the past few years we have seen several of our students go on to join start-up companies from the Deep Tech Incubator. If you are a current Warwick student, you can find out more here.Link opens in a new window
