![]() Two events designed to help fledgling businesses get funding have been announced by Connect Midlands. The first, on 23 February 2012, invites business owners to “Be a VC” for an afternoon and view some business proposals from the other side of the table. The second event, Right Funds for You, is organised in partnership with Birmingham Science City and signposts businesses towards finance options and resources available in the West Midlands area.
Connect Midlands is a not-for-profit network, that supports technology and high growth companies to gain investment through training and mentoring, investment showcasing, and networking between businesses, investors and the professional services community in the Midlands. The University of Warwick is a prime partner in this network.
