Create a custom template from an existing page
Rather than create a custom template starting with a blank page, you can use an existing page as the starting point. Note that this includes any sub-pages or files under the topmost page.

Browse to the page that you want to use as a custom template. If you're creating a template using multiple pages, browse to the topmost page.

Go to Edit > More:

On the Current page tab, under Manage page, select Save pages as template:

The Make a template screen appears:

Enter a Name and Description that accurately represent this template. These properties appear in the template options for other editors on your site.

Select Create template.
