Create a new custom template
To create a custom template for use on your site, you need edit or admin permissions on your site's home page.

Browse to the site where you want to add a custom template.

Go to Edit > More:

On the Current site tab, select the Create button under Site templates:

The Site templates pop-up window appears:

Enter a Name and Description that accurately represent this template. These properties appear in the template options for other editors on your site.

Leave Show in template gallery unselected for now. You will need to edit your template before making it available for others to use.

Select Save.
