Add a number field
Use a Number field to ask respondents to provide an integer value with or without specified limits.

Browse to the form you want to edit.

Go to Edit > Edit formsbuilder page:
Alternatively, select the Edit this form button at the top of the form:

Under Add a text box, select Number field:

You see the Add/Edit a number-line text box screen:

In the Field name box, enter the name you want to appear as the column heading in the form submissions table. For example:
1 to 20
In the Label box, enter the question or instructions to show the respondent on the form – for example:
Enter a number between 1 and 20:
If you don't specify a Label, the Field name displays on the form instead.

Optionally, enter a Maximum value in the box. Respondents who enter a number higher than the one you specify will see a pop-up error message informing them that their answer is not valid:

Enter a Minimum number in the box. By default, this is 0, and the minimum number must always be 0 or higher. Answers below the specified minimum value will receive a similar error message to the one shown above.

Optionally, in the Prefilled text box, enter a hint or example answer to help the respondent understand the information you're asking for. This text appears in the text box when the form loads.

By default, he Label displays to the left of the number field. If you'd prefer to have it appear above, select the Label on top checkbox.

To hide the number field from respondents, select the Only visible to editors checkbox. If this is enabled, only users with permissions to edit submissions will see the number field.

To make the field mandatory - the respondent must enter a number before they can submit the form - select the Required checkbox.

Select Save to confirm your changes and return to the Edit form screen.
