Recurring events

Postgrad Open Jam and Acoustic Night - last Friday of every month

On the last Friday of every month, we are hosting an evening of music in The Graduate (within the Dirty Duck in the Students' Union). Bring an instrument to join in with the open jam, and then stick around for a performance by a local band!

Skills Workshops

We host a variety of workshops throughout the year to help you develop academic, professional and personal skills. These include student-led workshops and skills sessions, in our On Track programme of workshops on academic skills, self-development and wellbeing, to help you keep up to speed on your dissertation or thesis. Alternatively, give our Creative Writing Group a try, if you fancy putting your imagination to work!

Cultural Events

We want to make the most of our global community here at Warwick so we often host student-led cultural events, such as the Lunar New Year, Eid al-Fitr and Thanksgiving. They're a great opportunity for you to meet people, experience another culture and learn something new! Take a look at our past events to see some of the cultural events we've done and get some inspiration for your own.

Feedback

Let us know your opinions on our events, spaces and services. You can also suggest events and workshops that you'd like to see in the REx or PG Hub. Please take a minute to fill out this quick questionnaire to help us determine what's going well and how we can improve our services.

Get Involved

Would you like to organise an event in the PG Hub? Is there a specific event you would like us to include in our programme?

Send us your ideas and suggestions to pgcommunity at warwick dot ac dot uk or talk to a member of staff at the PG Hub. If you need some inspiration, take a look at our past events to get a feel for what we do.

As part of our 'every student is an international student’ concept, last year the PG Hub organised monthly cultural activities to give both international and home students an opportunity to explore different cultures and get involved in their community.

The variety of events that was included in this programme ranged from St. Andrew’s Day celebrations, to Language Exchange events, to celebrating Shakespeare’s birthday! We hope to do even more this year!

The first celebration that usually takes place for us on campus is Halloween - check out the kind of things we get up to in the PG Hub for both Halloween and Day of the Dead!
