Impact and the REF

Overview:
This workshop covers what the REF is, how to develop, implement and record your impact plan, how to write a case study, how to evidence your impact claims and the use of impact capture systems. It is recommended for all REF impact case study leads and their teams, along with anyone interested in developing a REF impact case study.

Who should attend?
University of Warwick Research Active Staff (staff on Research-focussed, Teaching-focussed and Research and Teaching contracts).

Organisational Development do not accept applications from postgraduates or research students. Students should refer to the Student Opportunity.

Workshop enables participants to:

  • Develop their understanding of the Research Excellence Framework and why this is important.
  • Understand the benefits of the REF.
  • Understand how being involved with REF can benefit career development.
  • Support and resources available for REF.
