Introduction to Informing Policy
Overview:
This introductory training session covers the mechanisms of influencing policy in a range of sectors including parliament, public bodies, international institutions etc.
Who should attend?
University of Warwick research active staff (staff on Research-focussed, Teaching-focussed and Research and Teaching contracts) and PhD students.
Workshop enables participants to:
- Understand how researchers can use their research to inform policy and why this is important.
- Understand mechanisms for policy influence.
- Hear experiences of policy engagement from Warwick colleagues.
- Learn about support available at Warwick for those interested in influencing policy with their research.
