Warwick Impact Capture System Demo

Date: Wednesday 25th January 2023

Time: 15:00-16:00

Location: Teams (please register below to receive a link to the session)

The Warwick Impact Capture System (WICS) is available to all research staff at Warwick to help you record impact arising from your research. This session will demonstrate how the system works and how it can help you to track your impact.

WICS can be used for:

  • Storing evidence of impact
  • Recording activities and development of impact projects
  • Recording relevant research and grants underpinning your impact activities
  • Tracking additional project data, such as research and impact timelines, impact types, beneficiaries, and impact countries
  • Keeping notes about activities and impacts that could be used in a future case study

WICS can be used to develop an Impact Case Study for the REF, but we encourage all researchers who are doing impact work to consider using the system as a useful tool for tracking your activities and storing evidence, whether or not you think your work might be used in a REF case study.
