Researcher Induction

Overview:

The Researcher Induction session aims to induct research-active staff at the University by introducing them to the central departments, staff and teams that are essential to research and researchers. The session acts as a referral function, highlighting the support and development available to research-active staff.

Who is the session for?

The session is for all research-active staff at the University.

What are the intended learning outcomes of the session?

The programme aims to equip participants with the ability to:

  • Identify central departments, teams and individuals with responsibility for research (and researcher) support and development
  • Access important information about research policy and process at Warwick
  • Meet and network with other new research-active staff across disciplines and departments

Learning Hours:

This course takes approximately 1.5 learning hours. This includes any pre-course/programme work, attendance at workshops, experiential (‘on-the’job’) learning, coaching and post-course/programme work.
