Warwick Moves+

Warwick Moves+ is an activity-based reward app FREE for anyone with a @warwick email address.

Download the app now from AppleLink opens in a new window or AndroidLink opens in a new window and create an account using your Warwick email address. You don’t have to have a wearable tracker like an apple watch as it can link to apple health or google fit.

Maternity Leave and Benefit Plans

If you are a member of any of our external benefit schemes payable by salary deduction, if you continue into unpaid maternity leave, you must contact your benefit provider in advance and arrange alternative payment until such time you return to paid employment. You must also notify Reward@warwick.ac.uk of your intention. Unfortunately, failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of your plan(s) when no further payments can be taken from your salary.

  • Daily, continuous use of Display Screen Equipment (DSE)
  • Operational needs for Safety Glasses

Bupa Dental Cash Plan

Take advantage of a dental plan with Bupa Dental, offered at preferred rates for employees of the University. The dental plan allows you to claim back towards costly dental treatments, as well as routine check-ups and hygiene visits, at any dentist. This benefit is self funded.

Flu-Xpress Vaccination Service

The University runs free flu clinics at various campus locations for main university employees in Autumn. We would like to encourage our employees eligible for a free NHS vaccination to use this service where possible, so that we can continue to protect as many colleagues as possible.

Bupa Cash Plan

We are not accepting new members for BUPA Health Cash Plan. Continuity of this benefit will be reviewed in December 2025.

A health cash plan allows you to claim back some of the costs of routine health expenses for a monthly premium deducted from salary. These include dental check-ups, eyecare, physiotherapy sessions and much more.

Health and Wellbeing Policies

Your Head of Department may grant you Compassion Leave when there are urgent and adequate grounds to do so, for up to seven working days per calendar year (pro-rated for part time staff). Requests for leave should be made to your Head of Department or nominated representative.

The University of Warwick’s terms and conditions support you through illness or injury. You will continue to be paid Sick Pay according to the following schedule, subject to conforming to our Sickness Management Policy.
