We are delighted to announce the introduction of a new Cycle to Work Salary Sacrifice Scheme as a Staff Benefit. The Cycle to Work Salary Sacrifice Scheme is also another new initiative to support the Sustainable Transport Strategy and will provide staff the opportunity to acquire a new pedal bike, e-bike or adapted bike and accessories to cycle for work and leisure. The new direct debit system set up by National Express allows you to purchase a discounted monthly or annual pass directly with them. This replaces the previous system where staff had to request any refunds, cancellations or lost cards via the Payroll team. This system still grants 5% discount to Warwick staff.

As part of our transport and mobility strategy to provide you with a wider range of sustainable transport options, we have partnered with NHS Fleet SolutionsLink opens in a new window to provide all eligible staff at the University the opportunity to acquire a new electric car on contract hire as part of our employee Reward and Benefits package.

West Midlands Cycle HireLink opens in a new window

Coventry’s successful West Midlands Cycle Hire (WMCH) scheme has now been expanded to cover our campus and Coventry Railway Station. An additional nine new docking stations are available to users. Seven of these are on the university site with the remaining two outside the Visitor Information Hub at Coventry Railway Station and at Starley Gardens on Cox Street. There are 75 bikes over the area.
