Gym refurbishment FAQs

Sunday 28 July at 12.00pm - we’ll be closing the gym to start the refurbishment.

Tuesday 30 July at 6.00am - our temporary gym opens across Studios 1, 3 & 4 and the Rowing Studio.

Saturday 31 August at 7.00am - refurbishment work complete. Gym re-opens.

Yes, you will still be able to access the gym facilities at the Sports and Wellness Hub during the refurbishment. Our temporary gym will be set up across Studios 1, 3 & 4 and the Rowing Studio, and will include cardio machines, pin select machines, half racks, free weights, benches and bars.

There will be a selection of cardio and resistance equipment available in each Studio, so you'll have everything you need to get a full body workout. Our busy periods will be Monday-Friday, 5.00pm-7.00pm.

Studios 1, 3 & 4 and the Rowing Studio are located on the same floor as the gym. Signage will be in place and staff will be on hand to direct you.

Yes, these will remain open throughout the refurbishment.

No. The Spin Studio will be out of action for the duration of the refurbishment. We’ll be temporarily relocating spin studio classes to the Multi-Purpose Room (adjacent to Caffé Nero on the ground floor).

No, the Rowing Studio will be converted to a dedicated strength work zone, with lifting racks and dumbbells. A number of concept rowers will be available in Studio 1, 3 & 4.

No, our terms and conditions state that we can suspend services for a period of time to enable maintenance work to be completed.
