Can I draw your attention to an important opportunity to participate in a survey to gather evidence around the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic for the activities of researchers and research groups. I know this is short notice and I’ve only really been made aware of this today and I don’t know how many of you have seen this.

The survey has been commissioned by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), supported by UKRI and Universities UK.

All researchers are invited to take part, and BEIS would particularly like to hear from principal investigators and leaders of research groups.

Could you share this with relevant colleagues so that we (the sector) can provide evidence to Government around the scale of the challenges being experienced in the sector, and to help future reinforcement of the research base and to sustain research and innovation activity in the UK.

The survey should take 15-20 minutes to complete and is open until Tuesday, 9^th June.
