Programme Funding

Performance from Pride 2024

Supporting New Programme

We commission and create new extra-curricular activity with and for students. Funding is available if you would like to contribute an event to our programme, provided it is delivered in one of our workstreams and meets our objectives and criteria.

Funding Bids for Your Activity

Staff and students are welcome to bid for funding for extra-curricular activity. Funding is intended to support new activity that would otherwise not be possible.

Only University departments, the Students' Union and affiliated student Societies and Clubs can bid for funding. Non-affiliated groups should seek to find a department to support their work and submit a bid on their behalf.

Bids will be first evaluated by the Student Community Experience management team for viability, including checking budget availability and ensuring there are no clashes with other programme taking place at the same time. You can help ensure your bid passes through this stage by checking our calendar for clashes in advance, and considering your financial ask carefully: for bids over £1,500 we recommend first discussing your idea with our team.

Bids will then be approved or queried by the Together at Warwick Working Group via their MS Teams site as and when they are submitted. There is no schedule for funding decisions, and the earlier bids are submitted the better. Bids will not be considered if they arrive less than 60 days before the proposed activity is due to start.

If your bid is succesful, you will be invited to present at the next Working Group meeting.
