What's 'The Big Ask'?

At the University of Warwick, your voice matters! We’re putting you in the driver’s seat to shape your student community experience. Your ideas and input are not just welcome—they’re essential.

That’s why we’re dedicating a whole year of diving deep into what you want from Warwick Presents, the extracurricular, social and community programme for 2025/26.

Together, we’re reimagining the events, activities, and projects to make them as exciting and inclusive as possible!

The Big Ask: Dance Mat Pop Up

Wed 19 February, 12-3pm
SU Atrium

Lace up your dancing shoes and show off your moves on the dance mat! Face off with friends in arcade games or challenge gravity with our giant Jenga. It’s all about having fun while giving us your invaluable input.

The Big Ask: Grow Your Own

Drop in and get your hands dirty at our Grow Your Own workshop! 🌱 Join us at the Biosciences Building for a fun and creative session where you’ll turn ordinary jars into beautiful, personalized planters.

While you're here, play some games and share your thoughts on Warwick’s social, extracurricular, and community programmes and fill out our survey.

The Big Ask: Story Café

Wed 5th March, 12-2:30pm

Join us for a relaxing and fun-filled Storytelling Café! Sip on a hot drink while decorating your own mug, play some games and participate in our open writing workshop where you can create some poetry around your favourite university memories.

We also invite you to share your thoughts on Warwick’s extra-curricular events and community life and fill out our survey, as your voice matters to us!

We’re holding dedicated sessions this term for students to share their experiences and ideas, particularly for those facing additional barriers to social, extracurricular, and community activities.

This session is your chance to share your insights and ideas to make Warwick’s extracurricular programmes more inclusive, accessible, and exciting for everyone.

Equity in Focus: Designing for Accessibility

Join this relaxed and informal session to share your insights and lived experiences. Your feedback will shape everything social, extracurricular, and community-building for students at Warwick, making activities more accessible, inclusive, and equitable for students with disabilities.

We’ve worked with the ADHD Society to plan this session, with plenty of breaks, free pizza, and refreshments to keep things chilled. As a thank-you, you’ll also receive a £10 Warwick Retail voucher.

Let's Make Pride Together

Calling LGBTQ+ students and staff - we want to you to help shape the future of Pride on campus. Party? Protest? Community action?
We’re coming together to have an open discussion about what Pride means to you, what kind of events and activities you want to see, and how we can make Pride on campus representative of you.
Join us for your chance to share your opinions, talk about what pride means, and give your ideas and suggestions. This event will be an informal mix of group discussions, generating ideas, and giving feedback, and will be facilitated by Warwick Arts Centre associate artist Adam Carver (aka Fatt Butcher). And yes… there will be pizza!
