What is this page for?

This page has been created to give guidance on UK immigration and right to study to:

  • Students on a distance learning course which does not require attendance in the UK for more than 6 months in any academic year.
  • Students on a short term study course which does not require attendance in the UK for more than 6 months in any academic year.

Please contact your admissions team or the Warwick department responsible for your course.

UK Immigration and right to study:

You must hold an Immigration Status under the UK Immigration Rules to enter or remain in the UK.

If you intend to study in the UK, your Immigration Status must confer the correct right to study for your intended course.

Traveling to the UK

Once you have arrived in the UK:

Please provide a copy of your Visa Vignette with Entry Stamp, if you were issued with a Visa Vignette, or, a copy of your Boarding Pass if you applied on arrival or used an E-Gate, via the button below.

Once you have done so, you should contact your Department to see what further actions you need to take with regards to yoru course.
