Instructions | Visa type you should select |
Starting the course remotely without a Student Visa (or before you obtain your Student Visa) was only allowed during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. From 10 January 2022, the University has resumed face-to-face teaching and require all full time students to be based on campus. If for some reason you are not going to be able to travel to the UK before the 'latest course start date' (depending on your course, this is usually a few days or weeks after your official course start date as stated on your offer letter), then you will not be able to enrol. You can find your 'latest course start date' on your CAS.

You may have applied for student visa to extend your current stay as a student OR you may be switching from another category. In both cases, you are likely to be allowed to start your study once we establish you have made an in time application, and that your previous visa does not prohibit study. However, if your current visa is a 'Graduate' route visa, or a 'high potential individual' visa, then please contact us urgently as you are NOT permitted to study until you receive your student visa. Please be aware that in the case you have started your course however you visa is refused or rejected, you will be withdrawn from the course till you make a new visa application.
