What encouraged you to choose to join the Warwick Summer School?

The program looked very interesting and looking at the previous testimonials on the website, I was really excited to join. Since I was traveling out of country for the first time, I wanted to experience both summer school and visiting nearby places. WSS also had a package for visiting the city which was perfect for me.

As you transitioned from the Warwick Summer School back to your studies or work, how did the skills and knowledge you gained during the three weeks help you?

The transition back to university was easy. I noticed my grades were significantly better and I could do mathematical operations faster.

Did you build any new friendships/ connections during your time on the summer school?

Yes. I made a lot of new friends and connections whom I still talk to almost everyday. It's so nice to see the moving forward in life. We share our thesis research and course material and help each other wherever possible.

We are in fact planning to meet every year and look back on the fond memories we made at Warwick. I also learnt new languages from my friends at Warwick.

What was your highlight of taking part in Warwick Summer School?

I had many fond memories and moments that stood out, it is difficult to put my finger on one exact moment. But my highlight was watching a football match in the end of a class because we were all curious about the score.

What advice would you give to future students participating in the Warwick Summer School to get the most out of the programme?

In the initial days I was a little stressed about the pace of the course but as I talked to the professor things became easier. I would like to tell the new students that it is most important to live in the moment and have fun.
