As well as the social activities included in the course, you have the option to add on additional trips and activities. Please find the details of the activities below, and use the booking form to make payment and secure your place on the relevant trip(s)/activity.

Visit Oxford

Home to Britain's oldest University, visit the dreaming spires of Oxford for the day and take a historic walking tour that provides a great introduction to the city.

Oxford offers a wealth of historic attractions, superb museums and archaeological gems as well as meandering waterways, lush green spaces, eclectic foodie scene and brilliant shops.

Anyone looking to do some luxury designer shopping can head to Bicester Village too.

Visit London

A visit to England just wouldn't be the same without a visit to the capital City of London.

The visit includes coach travel to and from London, and the option to purchase tickets for the London Eye and river cruise.

London is packed with world-famous attractions such as Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, museums and theatres. Visit one of the many restaurants and cafes (some with gardens and rooftops) to enjoy views and London vibes over a drink or bite to eat.

Price - £70 (includes transport, London Eye and river cruise)

Visit the Cotswolds and Bath

A lovely day out to the beautiful Cotswolds and wellbeing destination Bath, the largest city in Somerset known for and named after its Roman-built baths.

The coach trip will start with a stop at Broadway, often referred to as the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds'.

Following a short stop here, the coach will continue to Bath. Bath’s honey-coloured Georgian architecture is straight from a Jane Austen novel and the compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink, independent shops and remarkable museums and galleries.

Price - £50 (includes transport - with stop off in the Cotswolds - and walking tour of Bath)

Climbing Wall Experience

Warwick's Sports and Wellness Hub boasts some amazing facilities, including our thrilling indoor climbing centre. With 706sqm of climbable surface, reaching up to 15m high, the climbing centre is suitable for first time to pro wall climbers.

You can climb your way and challenge yourself to

top rope, lead, bouldering and speed climbing - there are more than 144 different climbing wall routes available.

Harness and shoe hire available.

Once you have a confirmed booking for the Summer School trips you will not be able to cancel and receive a refund. You can transfer your place to another Warwick Summer School student. If you need to do this, please email wssadmissions@warwick.ac.uk
