Alumni Sustainability Spotlight

1. Describe your current role and what attracted you to it
Currently I am an Engagement Manager at a commercialisation firm that focuses on sustainable technologies. I work in the healthcare sector specifically, and what attracted me to this role initially was the ability to learn about healthcare and entrepreneurship. It is an opportunity to work within a variety of subsectors and the sustainable impacts that new technologies can have on healthcare systems.

2. What are the key sustainability skills you learnt at Warwick that have helped you with your career to date?
Given my degree, I established key knowledge about healthcare systems and key issues with current healthcare. This paired with learning how to think outside the box in terms of sustainable solutions, helped me get the role as well as succeed in it.

3. What top tips do you have for Warwick graduates who would like to work in your sector?
My top tip is to be a creative thinker when you are looking at solutions in sustainability, particularly in healthcare. You need to be creative in how you approach an issue and how to plan to solve it.
