Sustainability Governance at Warwick Conferences: From Roadmap to Impact

The Warwick Conferences sustainability committee began in November 2021 and leads our initiatives toward long-term goals. We created a sustainability roadmap in October 2023 to demonstrate our commitment and track progress. In December 2023, we achieved Greengage ECOsmart Platinum status for our strong sustainability performance. Our continually developing website provides extensive information for clients, including our alignment with UN Goals and support of the University’s wider strategy. We have also developed a carbon calculator with the University’s Energy and Sustainability Team, offered free to clients to help plan and reduce event-related carbon emissions for their events.
