Climate Literacy Training - First Gold Workshops!

In November 2024, we ran our first Climate Literacy Gold Workshops - one for staff, and one for students (see the pictures below).

These Gold workshops begin by recapping the Classic training, and then move on to look at communicating climate change and carbon reduction. The workshops give people a chance to network with likeminded individuals, and allow collaboration to think about how they can work together to reduce their carbon footprint.

The Climate Literacy Training is a collaboration between the Energy and Sustainability Team and Global Sustainable Development. To date, it has nearly 500 staff and students enrolled into the Classic training, 114 people completing the Classic Certificate, and 31 people receiving the Gold Certificate.
