This summer the University of Warwick has continued its long running project RAWKUS across four separate events.

This term has seen the relaunch of a exciting project and the beginning of a new one during a single day!

On the 29th of September 2023 we took part in EuroBioBlitz, which is a Europe wide event aiming to record as many sightings as possible on iNaturalist. We had 3 walks across the day, each lasting for one hour.

We got out and about this week welcoming 1000s of new students to our campus! Check out our key metrics here.

The Energy and Sustainability Team engaged with 2,384 new students joining our community through eight events.

We gained 126 new sign ups to our Student Green Champions Networks and raised £3,522 for local charities through the resale or items collected from university accommodation.

We're delighted to announce that 100% of those who provided feedback on our events found them engaging and learnt something new.

On Friday 4th August 2023, we recorded hedgehog footprints for the first time in one of our hedgehog surveys on campus!
