Food Intercept is a student-run social enterprise which exists to tackle the issue of food waste. We collect perfectly edible, fresh fruit and vegetables that would otherwise be thrown away, and give this to our partner "Mum's Kitchen" - a social enterprise in Coventry that empowers disadvantaged women from ethnic minorities. The women cook our collected food into delicious meals which we then bring to campus to sell.
