Warwick Uni Blackout: 5pm to 6pm, Friday 5 February

Warwick Uni Blackout is a fantastic, student-led initiative inviting the Warwick community to switch off its lights for one hour. The aim is to get people thinking about energy consumption and cut carbon emissions at the same time. It’s based on Earth Hour – a similar event for the wider world.

The team behind our upcoming Global Sustainable Development degree have launched their sustainability magazine, GLOBUS. The first issue covers the Paris climate talks, Warwick's efforts to provide sustainable food and drink, an interview with the Engineering students behind the Eco-Centre proposal and more.
