Responsible Procurement

In collaboration with the Procurement Teams we are working to influence an increase in responsible sourcing within the University supply chain.

Our estimations are that over 50% of annual carbon emissions derive from our supply chains, and we recognise we can only reach Net Zero by working with suppliers who are committed to helping us meet our target.

In addition to the carbon emissions from our purchased goods and services, we recognise the wider environmental and social impacts of our procurement choices and recognise the responsibility that is needed when setting criteria for purchased goods and services.
