Create a Filtered data list page

Use a Filtered data list page template to display selected items from a Data list page.

  1. Go to the parent page under which you want to create the Filtered data list page.

  2. Go to Edit > Create a new page:

  3. To see the Filtered data list template in the list, you need to add &sb_hiddenTypes=true to the end of the URL in your browser's address bar when creating a new page:

  4. Select the Change button to expand the options, then choose Filtered data list:

  5. You see the Filtered data list page options:

  6. In the Data store URL box, enter the path of the data list page you want to source items from. The path is the part of the URL that follows https://warwick.ac.uk - for example, to use a data list page located at:

    https://warwick.ac.uk/services/its/example-data

    you would enter /services/its/example-data

    Alternatively, use the Find a page button to locate the data list page on the University of Warwick site.

  7. Enter the tags or categories that you want to display in the Tags to show box.

  8. Enter the rest of the page properties: URL, Page heading, Title bar caption and Link caption. For more guidance on these properties, see our article on how to create a new blank page.

  9. Select Create new page.

  10. Follow the link in the confirmation to view your new page, or select Return to edit section to go back to the Editing screen for the parent page.
