The University of Warwick celebrates after placing in the top three at the “Oscars of Esports”

  • The University of Warwick ranked 2nd in the world in The Esports collegiate Program of the year.
  • Warwick University’s Head of Esports Jack Fenton placed 3rd as Esports Collegiate Ambassador of the Year.

Explore behind the awards including how esports has been a driving force for teaching essential digital skills to around 1000 young people in our region across three youth programmes including 100 who were disengaged with education, training and employment post-pandemic.

Coventry locals help build new miscarriage support tool

The new online tool helps women who previously had a miscarriage understand their chance of a successful pregnancy, as well as access personalised advice on tests, treatment and lifestyle changes. Professor Siobhan Quenby, who is also a consultant at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, analysed data from people who attended the Coventry Miscarriage Clinic, including Coventry locals, to give the tool a clinical grounding.
