Outreach
We are looking beyond the campus to encourage young people to switch onto engineering, science, and technology with a number of imaginative projects aimed at building links with the local community.
Through the collaborative research we undertake with business and industry, we are able to show via workshops, demonstrations and competitions, the breadth of these subjects in a fun and accessible way. By utilising and showcasing our expertise, young people have the opportunity to learn and understand how what we do makes an impact plus what they could achieve within these multi-disciplinary areas.
