On Saturday 22 November, the University opened its doors to alumni, friends and family for its largest ever Alumni Reunion Weekend – a major event honouring six decades of Warwick’s history.

The 3.5-year research project will examine how ‘co-creation’ – a collaborative process in which artists, cultural institutions, and community members share creative control – can bring artists and local communities together into a mutually beneficial two-way partnership.

School pupils from across Coventry came together at the University of Warwick on Thursday 20 November for a special event aimed at supporting young people to develop skills and confidence in promoting mental health among their peers.

The University of Warwick’s Global Illuminations Procession returned to campus this week, bringing together a record-breaking number of students to celebrate cultural diversity and foster community connections. As part of the University’s 60th anniversary, the event offered students a platform to share their cultural traditions and learn from one another.

In the latest QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2026, the University of Warwick has vaulted up the international rankings to joint 83rd place from 2,002 institutions – a climb of 34 places.

On Monday 17th November, the University of Warwick welcomed members of the House of Commons’ Education Select Committee for a day of discussions in support of their ongoing inquiry into higher education and funding.

As a special surprise to audiences at University of Warwick’s Warwick Arts Centre, British actress and national treasure Celia Imrie surprised film club enthusiasts by making an unexpected appearance at a screening of her 1995 Kenneth Branagh-directed classic ‘In the Bleak Midwinter’. 

University of Warwick will be filled with festive cheer this November and December, as campus comes alive with a host of Christmas celebrations for the local community – beginning with the Warwick Christmas Fayre on Wednesday 26 November.
