Part 1: Coding

Programme your future! The morning segment is all about coding activity around game creation and development brought to you by ROBOCODE. From 3D modelling, to game environments, to movement surrounding the basics within a leading game engine, this is an opportunity not to be missed!

Part 2: Esports

At the Esports Centre, we are home to Warwick Esports, the most successful competitive university esports outfit who have just been crowned 6-time national champions (read more about this here).

The afternoon segment is surrounding coaching, tournament building and what it takes to be in a successful esports society and team with our expert student staff. Each day focuses on a different game, an amazing opportunity to hone your skills in games you're familiar with as well as accelerating into games you're not.


Multi-day offers are available below and, as always, spaces are limited so get your tickets now!

    • Age:
      8 Yrs – 14 Yrs
      (For the Esports session, depending on game age permissions given by the parent, the age ranges may be divided between the games.)

    • Duration:
      4.5 hrs (10am-2:30pm)
      Please bring a packed lunch with you as we only have a certain amount of time between sessions.

    • Capacity:
      12- 24 participants - limited spaces available!

      4 Days - £145

      You can stay and join in with us and our DBS certified staff, “Drop ‘n’ play” on our PC’s and Consoles or feel free to “drop-n-go” and visit the University’s other facilities such as Pret A Manger or Café Nero:

      We are open before and after the session if you wish to match up with your working hours and have your children pay-to-play on the day!

Discover the basics of a leading game engine, delve into 3D modelling, and get to grips with introductory scripting.

1: Coding Essentials in Game Development

Explore the fundamental concepts of coding within the game environment, including properties, variables, and the structure of code.

2. Rocket League

Coaching and tournaments in Rocket League.

1: Bringing Games to Life with Motion and Interaction

Learn about the role of vectors in movement and understand how to create interactive elements through events.

2. Trackmania/ Overwatch 2

FRI 31 MAY | 10:00 - 14:30

1: Game Creation Workshop

Apply all that you’ve learned to build a simple game. This session is about creativity and synthesis.

2. Fortnite

Coaching and tournaments in Fortnite*.

  • 2+2 hour experience where participants will work together to learn about coding.
  • Collaboration with other young participants coming together with our expert staff to be guided along a collaborative learning experience.
